Alice 🐝<p>I have a feeling the ice has all melted by now but on Saturday I made a hole in the ice and put a bauble in each pond in attempt to stop it freezing completely. I heard putting a ball on the surface helps but 2 were frozen into the ice anyway. Alice 🐝<p>Bucket frog is in jail!</p><p>Also some developments:<br>- there are now loads of little squiggly bloodworms that hang out on the submerged stones, I even caught a shiny fly eating one yesterday which I had no idea was a thing that happens! </p><p>- noticing some cool flies I’m sure were never around before the pond.</p><p>-the water has become murky from bits of soil and things that have fallen in, which is probably normal. <a href="https://weirder.earth/tags/pond" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pond</span></a> <a href="https://weirder.earth/tags/frog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>frog</span></a> <a href="https://weirder.earth/tags/insects" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>insects</span></a></p>
