High time we find a new term for Immersive Sims.

There seem to be so many actors now who are unaware that this has been a technical term in a tiny niche industry, and now you can't really search for it online anymore without getting flooded by medical training or car and flight simulator software and devices.

(And it was always a stupid name in the first place.)

There are so many games now that deliberately go for both the presentation and many of the gameplay design approaches of games from the 90s. It's not just Boomer-Shooters and ImSims, but all kinds of games now.
Do we have any kind of name for them?

Neo-Retro Games?

When compared to other forms of entertainment, I really don't feel that video games are expensive. Especially those which offer 100s of hours of playability.

I've played Animal Crossing New Horizons for 395 hours... a £49.99 game. That's about 13p an hour.

I've played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for 185 hours, another £49.99 game. That's 27p an hour.

Compare that to an average price, non-premier 2 hour movie rental from Apple TV £4.99. So, about £2.50 an hour.
