A team of scientists and engineers will head to #Greenland next month to test fly drones in the Arctic in the hope of pioneering a new low-cost surveillance system that will transform monitoring of ice sheets.

Let’s face it, #China arguably has more claim to #taiwan than the #USA has to #Greenland, #Canada, or #panama. In the same way #brexit provided the distraction and encouragement for #Putin to invade #Ukraine so #trump is providing the smokescreen and excuse that could just provoke China to act. The cost analysis is being done for Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, by staff in the office’s International Affairs Division.
