The Guardian offers a collage of photos from the anti-Trump rallies that took place worldwide today.

Our rally was cancelled due to the dangerous weather anticipated in central Arkansas. Winds of nearly 80mph came through, toppling trees, and there's flash flooding all over the area. We've been without power much of the day, along with many thousands of others, and had limbs fall from a large maple in front of our house.

"Sure, the markets aren’t buying Trump’s claims, and economists think what’s happening is insanity, but there seems to be something more insidious at play here. ...

But what if it isn’t just a plan (no matter how bonkers) to make America richer? What if it is actually about amassing more power? Just as universities and law firms have recently done, this could be about Trump forcing private industry, key institutions, and foreign governments to bend the knee."

"We have power... Our power isn’t in a political system, or a religious system, or in an economic system, or in a military system; these are authoritarian systems... they have power... but it’s not reality. The power of our intelligence, individually or collectively IS the power; this is the power that any industrial ruling class truly fears: clear coherent human beings." ~ John Trudell

The five questions to be asked of anyone who claims any power or authority over you or any other person.

  1. What power have you got?

  2. Where did you get it from?

  3. In whose interests do you use it?

  4. To whom are you accountable?

  5. How do we get rid of you?

That last one is most important, as it reveals whether you live in a democracy or not.

I've always thought he was a great thinker, he was the first I came across that told the big story of civilization, that all power is founded on the theft of land and property, and the enslavement of the people. Power shouldn't exist as a divine right or by force, it should only be granted peacefully and by consent.

"A national government is well placed to ensure acceptance of its own money. […]
"The key to ensuring acceptance of a national currency is in the state’s power to tax. By specifying that taxes and other obligations to the state must be settled in government money, the government creates a need for individuals and businesses to obtain the currency."

There are no hazardous materials in crystaline #solar modules. Well, there's tin from soldering, but that's it.

Your standard solar module consists of:
- A glass panel and aluminium frame (80%-90% of weight)
- A plastic sheet on the back, or another glass panel
- Rows of solar cells glued onto the back panel, soldered together and connected to a junction box.
